For the Love of Christ and His chosen ones

The Serra Club of Singapore’s tagline is “For the love of Christ and His Chosen Ones”. This tagline is the linchpin of this particular ministry that we are called to serve in – we serve out of love for our Lord who first loved us. We also serve for the love of His chosen ones – our priests. Finally, His chosen ones also refers to all Catholics – who form the church and the church needs priests who can administer all the life-giving sacraments and lead us to Christ Himself.  Our ministry and all activities undertaken by us will have to be motivated by love and aimed at inspiring our church to love Our Lord in a deeper way. We believe that it is only when one loves God and His church unconditionally, can one give of oneself completely to serve Him in consecrated life to help build His Kingdom.
